Founded in 1958, Mott Road Elementary School is one of three elementary schools in the Fayetteville-Manlius School District and enrolls more than 470 students in kindergarten through grade four. Its campus includes a library, gymnasium, classrooms and art and music rooms. The school s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as math, art, science, social studies and physical education. Its counseling program educates students in decision making, problem solving, goal setting and self-awareness. The school offers a character education program that imparts values of respect, responsibility, generosity and perseverance to students. It has a parent council that meets with the school superintendent and district personnel to discuss several topics related to curriculum, transportation, testing, communication and community.
