Hillside Landscaping is the best in the business. With excellent customer service, and a can do attitude that is unmatched in the landscaping business. I recommend them by far over any other landscaping business in the region.

Highly recommended. Approached them with a small but unique landscape problem. They responded with great personal attention and enthusiasm for the job. Their professional attitude and perserverence through some trying circumstances was amazing. Many thanks to Ted, Jamie, and Jose for the friendly service. Will definitely use in the future.

Quality work, prompt and fair. Hurricane Matthew did its work on the creek side dock and cement work, Hillside shored up, modified the area to prevent further deterioration. Thanks!

WARNING,,,, DO THE MATH,,,, RIP-OFF

Ordered 20 cubic yards of mulch, they charged for 20 plus delivery fee of $75. They DELIVERED 10 yards. I called to request the remainder of the materiel, they refused to deliver. Mulch on the ground was 6' wide X 12' long X 4' high 6X12X4=288 cubic feet divided by 27 (cubic feet in a yard) is 10.667 cubic yards (if it was a perfect cube). They offered to come retrieve the materiel but then CHARGED ME AGAIN!!!! Now I am into this for more than $1,300, and waiting on the refund which they tell me will still be short $75 delivery fee and a minimum on 1 cubic yard of mulch a TOTAL RIP OFF of $109.24 because "THEY" refused to deliver the correct amount of mulch. They are likely using a 54" bucket on a small skidloader which has a "struck capacity" of 8.5 cubic feet. They will tell you that each bucket is one yard IT'S NOT!!! They deleted all fifteen of the previous reviews two others with the same issue, and I posted two. I will continue to post this review daily until I get my entire refund. They will likely continue to delete their reviews.

RIP-OFF Hillside Landscaping Hope Mills NC. I ordered 20 cubic yards of mulch delivered. They brought 10 (the pile on the ground mesured 6' wide X 12' long X 4' high = 288 cubic feet divided by 27 (cubic feet in a cubic yard) = 10.6 cubic yards; and that is "if" the pile was a perfect cubic rectangle. When I called and asked, they told me that it was 20 bucket loads (obviously not a one yard bucket). Told them it was unacceptable, and I'd take to small claims, they offered to retrieve the materiel and refund all but one cubic yard $30 and the delivery fee $75 since my neighbor used a wheelbarrel full already. Then they CHARGED ME again!!! (said they hit the wrong button). I'm now waiting on a $1,301.12 refund. I posted a review on their website, which had two of the thirteen reviews were for mulch quantities also. They deactivated the reviews cant read or post any (wounder why). Once I finally receive the refund,,, if it is still short the $109.24 I'll take it to the small claims.

Happy Customer!

I am a very large Landscaper in Fayetteville and I have been buying product from Hillside for several years. I have never had any problems with this company or anything I have purchased from them. I guess there are some people in town that really are not as educated as they want each other to think. I would highly recommend Hillside over any mulch company in town! Thanks Guys!!

SHORT LOAD,,,,

Truck bed is 5'LongX4'WideX1.5'Tall = 30 cubic feet. There are 27 cubic feet in a cubic yard. The truck bed was full but not heaped (struck). Paid $60 for two cubic yards (54 cubic feet). They are not using a 1 cubic yard bucket as they tell you. Most people don't know how to measure materiel so they trust the place.... Google it!!!! they are a rip off. When I told my neighbor this he was amazed (it was his truck) but embarrased that he was taken so badly.

WARNING - - - DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Do the math!!!!!

I ordered 20 cubic yards of mulch to be delivered. I received less than 10 cubic yards. The pile delivered measured 6'(wide)X12'(long)X4'(high) at the outside of the pile. If the pile was a perfect cube (which it was not) those measurements would have equaled 10.6 cubic yards 6X12X4=288 cubic feet divided by 27 (there are 27 cubic feet in a cubic yard) (half of what I ordered "if it was a perfect cube"). I called to ask for the remainder of the mulch, and was told that was 20 cubic yards. Having been involved in earthwork for thirty years, I know how materiel is measured (google it if you need to). I provided Hillside an option of delivering the remainder of the material or I'd take it to small claims. The owner told me accept it or, he would tell the Magistrate he offered to pick it back up, (obviously not his first time in small claims). I agreed for them to come pick it back up. I called three days later to ask when I would see the money refunded; they told me they would charge me for one cubic yard $30, and the $75 delivery fee. I again informed them that a FULL refund would be the only acceptable refund, and I would seek a claim with the court system if it was anything less. I am currently waiting for the refund of $759.80.

Paradise in North Carolina

I was so sad just seeing green grass green trees, and green bushes. I come from a tropical Island and I was missing all the flowers and that touch of paradise. Hillside Landscaping gave me back the tropics, and much more. Now I have a piece of home. They are the greatest.

Honest Company

After getting several quotes from different companies on a retaining wall and a brick paver patio, we decided to let Hillside complete this project for us. I am very satisfied with the work they did. Their employees are great! Very respectful, and completed everything they said they would without any problems.

Great place

After reading a few of these reviews, I feel compelled to write my personal experience with Hillside. They completed a commercial property for me several months ago and recently, finished a small project at my house I was not able to do. These guys are the best at what they do. Not only did they complete everything they told me they would do, they added several things to my house that they did not charge me for. I would recommend them to every member of my family and would like to thank them for a great job they did!
