Georgia Families and Georgia Medicaid made a mistake in processing my coverage. They gave me Peach Care instead of Amerigroup so I could go see a doctor because I'm now 7.5 months pregnant. Was scheduled to see Dr. Slade in Fayetteville today, was informed of my Peach Care status. Peach Care will give me a prior authorization but SCWH will not accept that because they would be paid less as an out of network provider. I'm working with the State of George to get my plan changed ASAP and I'm now being told they WILL NOT SEE ME AT ALL because it will have been a month since I have received prenatal care. HELLO!!!! If I could afford to pay $300 today, I would. There's a reason I am on Medicaid. The State of Georgia made mistakes, not me. And now my baby and I will not see anyone until my water breaks and they're forced to take me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GROUP!

When going to the doctor, most of the time you prepAre for long visits and wait times, but not for a midwife shaking my hand and telling you that, " its going to be a long day, because I got sick over the weekend." Omg! Im pregnAnt and you highly recommend that I get flu shot since it can be deAdly. Omg! If you are sick, please stay home. Do not come in sick! TMI.. The walls are pretty thin, you can hear other patients conversation with doctors in other room. You may feel rushed at times as well...

I tried to give this place a chance realizing that no doctor's office is perfect but each encounter was bad. There are very long wait times, incorrect and misinformation from doctors. Some of the doctors were pleasant and seemed to care but others had very poor bedside manner. Myself and others I know had many billing issues. One billing issue took 8 months to resolve. I would not recommend Southern Crescent.

I love this place. Dr. Nater is my doctor and she knows how to take care of you. From the front desk all the way through the office I was treated with kindness. I love SCWH and look forward to coming here for many years.

I absolutely love this practice. Had seen different doctors and midwives throughout both of my pregnancies and continued my care for years as a gyn patient. I would reccommend Southern Crescent to anyone and have to all my girlfriends and family members.

My mother and myself are patients there, the staff treats my mom poorly since she is older and suffering from possible menopause. The staff glosses over her case and focuses more attention on the expecting mothers. Also my mom once asked the staff a question about menopause and they good here the wrong information that my mom even knew was wrong, horrible staff.



Now it comes to me and billing, I have been sent a total of 4 bills over the last 8 months. The last one 8 months since I was even seen saying the insurance company (couch southern crescent cough) made a mistake and I have to pay for their blunder total costing over $250. There is no excuse for this, I should have been told about this a long time ago. I only went for two visits one to see the doctor and the other for a shot without seeing the doctor. They sent me three bills within the first three months and now this bull. I only recommend going to this place if your pregnant and love babies and like paying for a year on each visit you go there for.

The entire staff is less than professional. I've overheard doctors gossiping about patients. The entire office needs to be changed. Can't talk to a real person on the phone, appointments take forever, and they require so much advance information it's ridiculous!! I left this practice after two visits-both were fairly similar. Save your time and money (honestly $350 for a pap??).
