I went to have my Air Conditioner fixed and had to return three times. They said I did not tell them the right information. They actually cut a wire and my fog lights went out. They kept fixing the wrong thing. My husband went in for the fourth time and asked for half of the money back. They said your wife told the wrong information. Just because I am a woman doesn't mean I do not know anything about cars. They would not offer a rental car either for all the time I was out, and refused to give us a partial reimbursement because my husband had refix everything himself. The manager was evasive and dodging questions. Then told my husband why don't you fix it yourself then. Very incompetent and unprofessional experience.

Recently I read a negative review for Burt Brothers in Farmington. The complaint was that they were told a time and they were late and that they were inconvenienced . I have used them for many different automotive needs. I have always been treated with respect and professionalism. I can only speak of my own experience over many years with them.
A couple of years ago I had a flat. When I went to fix it ,my jack was missing. It was cold wet and slushy. It was about 6:15 pm and I knew they would be closed but I called anyway . Cory answered and said to sit tight. He showed up, crawled through the slush changed my tire and took the flat to be repaired which I picked up the next morning. No Charge!
I believe that my experience was not a singular event. I think my experience was a reaction to someone who's motivation was to make people happy with service rendered. I believe much of Burt brothers success is a result of their ability to teach every employee the value of good service.

Do NOT go to these guys! They replaced a tire $300 that did not need to replaced, charged my wife $100 for a Special oil change and recently supposedly changed my transmission oil - which actually was counter productive to fixing my transmission (according to Tanner Transmission). Their special transmission flush only replaced about 1/3 of the oil and did NOT replace the filter. They are specialists at upselling and misrepresenting their services.

I have caught the workers on 3 seperate times either not rotating tires properly, not balancing, and then not balancing all four tires. I was informed that they only balance the tires that will go on the front. I will never use these guys again. 3 strikes and your out, even if you did try to make it right once the errors have been pointed out to management.

Tires are tires, so where I go is typically based on price and service. I went to Burt Brothers based on the recommendation of a colleague and now can't imagine taking my business there again.

I had set up the purchase/installation of my tires the day before by phone and indicated the need to get in and out. I was told it would be no more than 45 minutes. Upon arriving, I reiterated that need and was told that it'd be no problem. 1 h and 20 min later, I finally got to drive out of the lot with new tires.

Correspondingly, when paying for the tires I was charged for the $24/tire, tire protection plan - without even inquiring as to whether this was something I even wanted. They did promply refund my money, but I thought the practice of assuming I wanted it was quite odd.

Futhermore, now I get to go back and have them re-balance the tires due to the steering wheel now shaking as I'm driving.

One of these issues seperately probably wouldn't preclude me from going back, but experiencing all three at one time, and on my first visit, certainly will.

I will say this, they were quite friendly throughout the whole process.
