Have used Garrett Aut and Truck Service for all my truck repairs and maintenance. Prices are reasonable for the services. When they diagnose a problem they fix it right, which means they're not doing any bs shortcuts that'll come back to haunt you later. Keeping the trucks running is by far cheaper than them cosntantly going back in for another repair that should have been done the first time. So overall I give Garrett Auto and Truck Service 5 stars for great work. Always recommend Garrett

STAY AWAY! Quoted over $8,000 in repairs for a commercial vehicle, and threatened our employee with "huge fines from the state police" if he didn't get the repairs done right away.

We went to another local shop in Novi, and got the repairs completed for $2,200 - just over 1/4 of the price quoted by Garrett.

I can honestly say that this is one of the worst mechanics I have ever had the misfortune of coming across. I grieve for anyone who gets ripped off by these scam artists. Do not trust them, do not let them work on your vehicles, and stay FAR AWAY.

Garrett Truck and Auto Repair fixed my husband's Ford diesel truck after another repair shop messed with it for two weeks. That was 15 years ago. Garrett's kept that 2000 Ford F250 7.3l Powerstroke well maintained and in excellent running condition for many years and continues to this day. The truck has nearly 400,000 miles on it. Does Garrett Truck and Auto cost more? Not at all. You depend on your truck like we do, having it down for any time at all is what costs the most. Garrett Truck and Auto Repair Services are masters at diagnosing and repairing, and they get the work done fast. Being from Novi, it's a short distance to drop off the truck. I've recommended their repair facility to friends in the landscaping business who've told me they are exceptionally happy with the customer service and especially the quality of the parts they use and the experience of their mechanics. You pay more when another company does the repair wrong and Garrett Truck and Auto Repair Services has to fix their mistakes. That's my experience. Had diesel fuel injectors diagnosed and replaced, glow plugs replaced, front-end work done and if you know Ford, the lock plungers had to be replaced. Super happy with the repair and maintenance from Garrett.

Crooks AVOID at all time. Brought in a jeep and left with a basket case. Bent timing cover, alternator laying in engine bay, busted mounting bracket, rip timing belt and I don't know what else

I took in my 2005 Ford Super Duty Powerstroke for work becuase it wasn't starting. The service manager there was professional and knows diesel trucks better than the dealer mechanics. That obviously follows down to the mechanics, who are all knowledgable with Ford diesels. These are not simple trucks and these guys are true diesel mechanics. Nothing gets by them. I think with Garrett Auto and Truck Repair, you do get top quality mechanics, top quality service, and the work is done in good time. Down time costs too much to bother trying anyone else. I'll be back for all my vehicle service needs as once I find a great trustworthy repair facility I am their customer to lose. I have alrady recommended Garrett Auto and Truck Repair to several friends, so far I've only heard good things from them.

I definitely will keep on going back to this business. They're nice and want get down to figuring out what may be wrong with your car. Spending the money was wroth it, now I'm confident in my car every time I start it and take it out on the road wanting to get to point B. Family business means a good business and trustworthy.

They tried selling me on preventative maintenance just to get a vehicle passed which is not required according to the fmcsr appendix g i believe. This is one time going over and above is not a good thing as it could cost you an excessive amount of money. Once your in the door they try and get you over a barrel if you know what i mean
