Todd, the person who runs the shop is awesome. Approachable, professional. Easy to have a discussion about your transmission and what are the options.

I have a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan with the 3.8 liter engine, 64TE transmission. My van had been going into limp mode which puts itself in 2nd gear, and it could happen at anytime. It switched on the check engine light, and when I had the code read, P0755, it leads one of the causes to be a failing solenoid pack inside the transmission. I caleed a minimum of 10 shops as far as Clarkston and had 2 top rated shops in Clarkston do their evaluation. Most would only do a a total rebuild, one said it was time to let the van go,

I spoke to Todd about this, he gave me a quote which I thought was very fair, had him replace the pack and I haven't had one single issue since the pack repalcement. Thank you Cuddy brothers and Todd!

They diagnosed my car's problem as a bad C/V axle after another shop misdiagnosed the problem as a bad transmission that needed rebuilding. Their correct diagnosis saved me about $2300 in unnecessary repairs. How about that!

You can tell that Cuddy Brothers know what their doing. In order to survive as long as they have, particularly without a bunch of advertising, they must be good! They were very accommodating with me and even drove me home after I dropped my vehicle off! Not many places like this around anymore. Highly recommended.

I took my car to a couple of other shops to check out a noise my car was making. After receiving two estimates for a complete transmission rebuild at a cost of between $1500.-$2000. I then took it to Cuddy Brothers and they found that it was not my transmission but a wheel bearing was bad at a cost of $210.00 my car was back on the road without the noise. Cuddy Brother Transmission will be getting a Christmas card from me from now on.

NEVER have I EVER done a review for ANY mechanic shop in my entire life because no one have ever been worth my time even for me to do a bad review. I am so GRATEFUL and THANKFUL for Cuddy Brothers Trans... I am a single mother of 3 (18mths,3yrs and 18yr old). With daycare for my 2 little ones and with everything going on with prom, graduation, senior activities for my 18year old and daily living expenses my finance are limited at this time for anything outside of what i mentioned. BUT unfortunately in the mist of it all my daughter transmission went out. The price was fair and I didnt feel like they were trying to get over on me as a women/customer.
I was referred, skeptical and uneasy about everything. Mike was AWESOME, KIND, UNDERSTANDING, HONEST and reassuring the whole step of the way...He conversed effectively and wanted to make sure the work on my daughter car was done perfectly within the rim of why it was there. I will be a LIFETIME customer and will refer them to any an everyone i know.. i hope my review will send anyone who reads this their way. GOOD mechanics are hard to come by.

Cuddy Brothers did a fantastic job on my 2007 Cadillac CTS this week. I highly recommend them. My car needed a new flex-plate and starter, a very involved job (requires starter & transmission removal). Running out of time to get my car running I asked a shop I trust and they referred me to Cuddy. I was in a rush and without much notice Todd and Chris took my car in and were very courteous & patient with me (I'm picky and do have lots of questions for my mechanics usually as I work on my car plenty but don't have a lift). They allowed me to inspect my car in detail and see the full extent of the damage with my own eyes (unlike the techs at the Cadillac dealer which dragged their feet when I requested that and told me it'll take two days to put the car on a lift because of how busy they are).

Plus the price Cuddy asked to do this tough job was much better than what the Cadillac dealer requested. They fixed the car in addition to other things that I requested in less than one business day like champs and without long delays and complaints (like you would experience at a dealer) and put everything back together even better than it was before and they didn't charge me more than I was quoted. I love my car and thought it has 110K miles it now starts up and drives like it used to when it was brand new thanks to them.

I'm very glad I was able to support a local small business with my money as opposed to spending an arm and a leg at a dealership which already makes millions.

Cubby Brothers Transmission is the bomb dot com! I thought that no more honest mechanics existed but then I ran across Cubby Brothers and Todd and Mike were exceptional in customer service, their people skills, knowledge about transmissions and most of all honesty. I had sent my SUV to a shop to be evaluated through a diagnostic test to confirm that my transmission was bad and low and behold I received confirmation that it was the transmission and that the cost would be somewhere in the ball park of $2500 and up. So my vehicle sat for 36 days because of the false confirmation that I was given by a neighboring mechanic shop that supposedly ran a diagnostic. After finally saving up the money for this costly repair I was directed to take it to Cubby Brothers Transmission based on their professionalism with their over the phone conversation, free towing if they have to do any repairs, positive reviews and most of all a very reasonable estimate for the repairs. Cubby brothers sent a tow service to pick up the vehicle and that Todd would call me once he had a chance to look at the vehicle. Well low and behold there was nothing wrong with my transmission at all. As a matter of fact he told me that my transmission was in great shape. So I asked what is the problem and Todd said I have a bad motor mount on the front right side and that it was only a $250.00 fix. Todd and Mike are honest hard working people who are not out to rob single women that drive/own SUV's . I am so overwhelmed that Todd and Mike are honest business men which shows me that good people still exist in the world and not to mention they saved me $2500.00 These guys deserve a "Humanitarian" award. Thanks Todd and Mike and I will spread the word about Cubby Brothers Transmission everywhere I can. :)

Cuddy Brothers is amazing! When the transmission on my Lexus SUV went out, I was a bit confused on where to turn; I had only herd horror stories about transmission shops, that in general, they rob you! And adding to my stress, the warranty company I had purchased an extended warranty through was not eager to cover the repair. My initial call to Mike at Cuddy Brothers left me confident and assured that I had come to the right place, Mike was exceptional in taking his time and explaining all of my options and every step in the process to getting my vehicle repaired. And more, he was extraordinary in holding the warranty company accountable for what they were legally responsible to cover! I depend on my vehicle and it’s back to running great, thanks to Mike and the exceptional service at Cuddy Brother’s.

I am a Medical Traveller and did not have a mechanic here, and I drive a Mercedes,which in itself is an issue. But my guys from Cuddy Brothers ( Todd and Mike)came through for me..They realize it was my transmission, but weren't sure they could repair it . They did some checking and realize they could repair but it could be expensive. To say the least they repaired it and it wasn't expensive(considering it was a Mercedes) I was very please with there work and ethics. I would recommend there services to anyone. Thanks guys. J.H-P

Cuddy Brothers are awesome. I can't thank them enough for the repairs they made on my car. It's refreshing to find honest and trustworthy service this day in age. They fixed my car at a more than fair price and the service was excellent. Anytime I need trans work they are the only place I will go. Thank you once again, my car is running perfectly.

Mike and Todd took great care of my daughter's Trailblazer. They did the Front Differential and Front Hubs. Great work at a fair price. They were very creative in the way they rebuilt the front dif, saved a lot of $ in the process. They also did an inspection of the new transmission for my hot rod, and when it had a leak due to the installation (not their job) they took it in and fixed it for $20....Unbelievable. Great guys.

Great service! Great price! Great job. As a woman, it is often confusing to understand what is going wrong with my car. I took my Fusion to Cuddy Brothers. Mike and Todd were very informative with what was wrong and what needed to be done. They were able to get my car in and out within the day and the price was very doable. My clutch went out. I called them after hours and Mike talked with me about the issue and recommended I take it in the following day. He quoted me a price that was well below the quotes from several other places. 2 months later the clutch went out again & they replaced the clutch again at no cost. They were very nice & made sure I understood everything. They are not crooks per other reviews. If they were, they wouldn't do work for free or provide estimates several hundred dollars below other estimates. I recommend them. I'm a woman & don't know a lot about cars & have been ripped off by other places because of it but Cuddy bros didn't do that at all so that's another plus.

I took my car to Cuddy Brothers Transmission to have them install a torque converter and a nine hour job took them four days! Then I discovered that they bent the ground effect skirt when they hoisted the car. They wouldn't take care of that. Then I presented them with their own coupon which I printed off their web site and they would not accept it. The coupon stated that you receive $150 off a major repair. I was told this $868.70 repair bill was not considered a major repair. I also missed one day of work because when I requested they provide a rental car at no charge, they said I could have a rental for $25. They are the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!!!!!

They rebuilt my transmission on my 1998 GMC pickup. Shortly after warranty was up, transmission went bad. They rebuilt at cost. It probably would not have cost me anything had I not pulled the transmission out myself to bring it in. Once rebuilt, started having problems again. Brought it back they repaired a non-related sensor for $40.00. That is customer service!!!

THESE GUYS ARE THEIFS. I CALLED THEM AND THEY HIGH PRESSURED ME OVER THE PHONE TO SEND A TOW TRUCK TO PICK UP MY VEHICLE. THEY SAID IT NEEDED A REBUILD AND A NEW CLUTCH. WHEN I GOT THE VECHILE HOME IT LEAKED TRANNY FLUID ALL OVER MY DRIVEWAY. MAKE ALONG STORY SHORT AFTER RETURNING THE VEHICLE TO THEM 3 TIMES THE CAR STILL DOES NOT DRIVE CORRECTLY. $2000 LATER I FIND OUT THEY DID NONE OF THE WORK THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO AND JUST BAISICALLY STOLE MY MONEY.
