This place is the junkyard of all junkyards. Do not purchase anything from this place. I've seen a very few of you rate this place with 4-5 stars. That's because your purchases are not enough for them to screw you over. Wait until you go deep in to your pockets then you will get shafted. I advise you to do your research on any company you decide to use. Everyone is your best friend because the want your money n business but after that they move on to the next. They will not accept calls n if n when they do they will tell you they were with a customer but fail to remember that you just have them 30-40 grand and their subs another 30-40 grand. Ask if they take Amex. They will tell you no. Why? Because with Amex you gave a fighting chance to get your. Knew vsvk if you have proof that the job and or service was not complete. That's the process I'm going through now with them. June 1 of 2016 I walked in there and was promised to be swimming first week of aug. they didn't start digging until September. Finally almost got complete March and open the pool in April n never ran correct. Loosing water, loosing pressure. Filtration problems and I can go on. If you get drunk or if your high on drugs just be sure you record phone calls as I did, save any and all text messages and emails as I did with these people. This probably will be your only fighting chance to get your money back from cc companies. Do not give them certified checks. A company that will not accept cc should tell you right there they don't trust their own work or themselves because if they did there would. Be no worries in accepting a cc correct? Choose wisely , be smart. If I can help one person then it was worth it.
Ps. I am a 44 year old disabled 911 responder as well. I crawled into this place trusting them with my money and situation and put it in their hands. I did this so I can sit in my yard and watch my 5 yr old boy n wife enjoy the summer because it's hard for me to get around.

Cannot even put one star for service. I have owned an inground pool for thirty years. Thought I'd give backyard maters a try. HUGE MISTAKE!!!! Took my money and said they would have my part in 24-48 hours. It's been well over a week. Still no part! They won't come to phone anymore and put customer service girl Sara in the phone. Rudest person ever!!! These guys Derrick Dean and a Larry get on phone then place me on hold for half an hour. Listen if you can't get the part SAY SO!!!!!!! Can't get refund either. Bad place to do business. Never again!!!

My name is Rob Sayegh I am writing this review because every time I drive from Beechhurst queens to this place or call I allways get great customer service I usually deal with john behind the desk and the young beautiful lady charge Sherrie, I bought in June 2013 a beautiful 10 by 10 gazebo that sits in front of my house it's amazing it's drilled into the concrete but I forgot to take room down and the 60 mph wind storm in November tore the roof so I just purchased another of course they where very fast cordial and ordered it for me right away this is the reason I drive 27 miles to them they have an awesome showroom and they have beautiful dogs behind the counter that greet and say hello , great experience and they have everything you need for outdoor pools and entertainment

I ALWAYS have a very good experience here. The store is beautiful and always packed with customers. The Farmingdale store is way bigger than it appears and everyone here is always very helpful. I go to backyard masters for all my chemicals and pool accessories. I also bought my patio set , outdoor kitchen and doughboy pool here... The deliveries and installation were always very easy and professional. Highly recommended..

I had a great experience with backyard masters. I bought a hot tub last year and I got a beautiful patio set at a great price during their end of the year sale. Shopped around the area.. my favorite set was at backyard masters and they had the best price so was a no brainer. Delivered and set up the furniture. The 2 guys who delivered it was very professional and courteous. The staff are always very kind and helpful to me. I've had my hot tub for a little over the year and use it all the time. Always get compliments on my backyard from my friends. Very happy with Backyard Masters.

GREAT JOB BACKYARDMASTERS . From start to finish. I fee I recieved the very beat quality,an awsome overall backyard design. I did shop around quite a bit. They had the best showroom on long Island , the place is farmingdale is tremendous. They had everything in abundance. We ended up doing everything with them. The Pool, the Hot tub, the deck paver stones, landscaping, and even the patio furniture set, they gave us everything for a great monthly price that was in reach with our budget. What we liked the most was dealing with one company. We were able to finance everything for a rediculously low interest rate, so it made it worth doing everything at the same time, something I did not really think we could do untill we realized how much sense it really made due to the current low interest rates. I really reccomend Backyardmasters, and their team of seasoned professionalls, when your in the farmingdale showroom you will know you found the right place. Thanks, Dean jr, Scott, and Matt, and the whole team at Backyardmasters, Thank You, Thank You, We love our new Backyard, and we can't wait for this summer, because we will get a whole season of use...

Beautiful store. I see the other negative reviews but I have fantastic customer service at backyard masters. I rather drive the 30 minutes to backyard masters rather than go to a local store just because I enjoy going there, I trust the staff, and their prices are great. Everyone who I've recommended them too also has had great experiences and continues to use them. I HIGHLY recommend Backyard Masters.

Wish I could select 0 stars...I contracted Backyard Masters to fix my hot tub. After $750 worth of parts and labor, and three months of calling them repeatedly, rarely getting through to the service dept, and never having my calls answered (often hung up on), the tub was still not fixed. They wanted me to pay another $350 (non-refundable) for them to install another new part which the MANUFACTURER assured me wouldn't fix my problem. Frustrated, I finally switched to Suntek, and it was fixed two days later - Backyard Masters had installed the last part wrong. They are horribly understaffed, treat customers like crap, and their techs are not competent.

I purchased a semi in ground pool may of 08. It took over 5 weeks to have it delivered and the start of installation. Although Backyard Masters are not responsible for the installers I did use a company they recommend. After having my pool installed within 2 days of my kids using it the steps separated. I bought a more sturdy and wider set of steps that were not cheap for safety. I went to backyard masters told john the person who sold me the pool about it and he told me I had to bring them in. I was very angry since these are huge steps no way they could fit in my car. I finally found someone with a big truck to bring the steps in the following year April of 09 and when I got it to the store the store manager proceeded to tell me I should not have brought them and he could do nothing after he looked at me and said they have been cracked from weight ( I am over weight but I have never used the steps) I was so angry and applauded then he said you didn't put a screw in it is missing. I pointed out to him that there was no spot for a screw. He said he would have someone come out to look at it within a week. Needless to say I have never heard from them again I have called numerous times even gone down to the place which is not close to my house. I have heard nothing I think they are Backyard Bastards.

ALEX DID A MAGNIFICENT JOB AND JOHN THE SALESMAN WAS OUTSTANDING NO PRESSURE NO NONSENSE

THIS IS THE 3RD POOL I HAVE PURCHASED IN MY LIFETIME BUT THE FIRST FROM BACK YARD MASTERS THIS POOL IS BY FAR THE BEST I HAVE EVER PURCHASED. THE INSTALL WAS DONE WITH NO HIDDEN CHARGES BOTH ALEX ANND JOHN ARE HONEST PEOPLE AND I THANK THEM AS ME AND MY FAMILY ARE SWIMMING IN A BEAUTIFUL POOL IN OUR BEAUTIFUL BACK YARD CHEERS TO BOTH ALEX FROM WORLD POOL AND JOHN FROM BACKYARD MASTERS FOR A JOB WEEL DONE
