A skilled handyman will be responsible for performing repairs in private homes and businesses as needed. General duties include clearing and repairing units in apartment complexes between occupancies, performing renovations on properties, maintaining and general upkeep such as painting, clearing drainpipes, watering grass and gardens, mowing lawns and hauling garbage, always ensuring proper disposal techniques are adhered to. A qualified handyman will also respond to emergency calls from building management or, in the situation of an apartment complex, directly from the residents themselves. Occasionally the handyman will be required to submit bids on jobs not suitable for or outside the budget of the project. In these instances, A handyman will be required to effectively communicate the budget for which management has outlined and manage the contracts and contractors by saving all required receipts and invoices for processing.

Perform repairs to rental property as needed during occupancy of units.• Perform cleaning & repairs to property in-between tenants- preparing property tobe re-rented in good condition.• Perform house/unit renovations & upgrades as directed• Complete unit turnover check list on each vacancy• Scheduling with tenants to gain access for repair work• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance of properties
