Bayshore Christian School was established by families of Eastern Shore Presbyterian Church (PCA) in 2002. Conveniently located on Highway 98, the school facility is quietly nestled in the picturesque pines and sprawling live oaks of Fairhope, Alabama. What began with 20 students has now grown to more than 160 students in kindergarten through the tenth grade, with plans to add a grade per year and graduate the first senior class in 2016.

Bayshore offers a distinctly classical and definitively Christian education to more than 104 families representing 29 different churches and 7 evangelical denominations across  greater Baldwin County. BCS has been a member of the Association of Classical Christian Schools since 2004, has applied for ACCS accreditation, and is diligently working towards that end in 2016.  

The classical approach follows the natural development of a child's intellect. Beginning with the "grammar" level by presenting the basic facts and principles of learning, then progressing to the "logic" level of ordering information, Classical education matures in the "rhetoric" stage where students learn to think critically, integrate information, and communicate effectively. Classical education is designed to develop life-long learners who know what they believe, why they believe it, and how to winsomely communicate it as they impact the culture of Christ.
