Cuoco Structural Engineers, LLC (CSE), is a full-service structural engineering firm specializing in commercial, residential, waterfront and institutional/municipal structures. In addition to our structural design work, we also provide specialty design services for projects involving curtain walls, railings, stairs, heavy timber, temporary shoring and excavation support. CSE also offers a variety of consulting services: forensic analysis, third-party design review and expert witness testimony. CSEs managing principal, Nic Cuoco, has more than 25 years of experience as a structural engineer. Nic started CSE in 2002 completing more than 1,000 projects of varying size and complexity; from designing basic retaining walls for homeowners hit by hurricanes, to performing a complete structural analysis of the Pleasure Beach Bridge for the City of Bridgeport. Our team performed the peer review for the University of Connecticuts $30 million Student Center addition, and is also handling the structural design work for several current high-profile projects along major travel corridors in Connecticut.
