Rooted in tradition, the International Karate Association & College of the Martial Arts was founded by Sho-Shihan Charles Scott in 1972, The school is dedicated to providing martial arts instruction, specifically AUTHENTIC Karate, Aikido, Kung Fu, Jiujitsu, Iaido and Kubudo to the Fairbanks area. Kickbox Fit is exclusive to IKA Alaska and is a cardio and strenth training workout using real martial art movements.  All instructors require martial art training and certification. Come get your burn on! The International Karate Association & College of the Martial Arts is now a Verbal Judo Certified School.  We are committed to taking a stand on bullying and tactical communication.  We beleive the best defense, if possible, is to avoid physical confrontation by redirecting behavior with words.

We are located in Fairbanks, Alaska at 1140 Downwind Drive is located off Chena Pump Road. Pass the Pump House Restaurant, turn right onto Mid-chena after passing Lady Liberty and martial art banners. The IKA & CMA is to your right after turning onto Mid-chena. Please use the second driveway entrance for the school parking lot.
