Nice place. They get 5 stars because I ordered the red curry hot and it was nice and hot.

It can be hard to find decent Thai restaurants in Fair Oaks that aren't just some chain, mostly because there aren't really any. But recently I came across Siam Patio, and I think I can declare it as my favorite Thai restaurant in the greater Northern California area.



Now, I don't really understand Thai food too well, so I always end up getting the same thing: green curry with tofu. If nothing else, it gives me a good even playing field to judge each restaurant against the others. And Siam Patio delivered... it was fantastic. So flavorful and delicious! Easily the best I've had in Sacramento. Before that we had a Tofu tower appetizer... it was really amazzz



The place is a little small, so you may end up hovering over some dining folks while you wait for a table to open, but it is worth the wait. The place is nicely decorated (with a giant orange fish in a tank that was cracking me up throughout dinner), and the staff was very friendly and competent. This place is great!
