I shopped here and purchased one of my favorite brand of frozen french fries. They seemed to be a good price so I bought 7 bags of them and stored them in my large freezer. I like to stock up on items when I get a good price. When I went to use them I discovered large amounts of black, smelly mold in the bags. I returned them to the store with the receipt and they would not refund my money. They said that I had them too long. After purchasing these I immediately froze them. Frozen items do not develop mold. The store manager did not believe me. This place has a no return policy but I expected an exception in this case. No such luck. Beware of shopping here, yuck!

Very Helpful

With great prices & helpful service, P&R is the 1st place I stop. Since it is a discount/surplus store, some items change weekly & they don't have everything, but its a great place to extend the budget. I get high quality pet foods difficult to find in other stores at routinely discounted prices, making it a big plus. New items are often set out for sampling before buying & BOGOS are a common sight. Wheelchair bound, I find it to be the most helpful store & its the one place everybody in the family actually likes to go along to help shop.

Fabulous discount store with great bargains, damaged items, overstocks, and slightly outdated items. Huge supply of baby items, many at 50% off. Diapers, food, formulas, organic, high-end clothing, etc. Some things are the same price as maybe you could find them on sale, say, paper towel or toilet paper, but the difference is, they are this price all the time at P&;R. You don't have to wait for a sale or go to a... view more special store, and there are enough other items that are 50% off that it is worth the trip. Items I Buy here, Breakfast Cereals for my stepson and husband who eat them like crazy - 50% less than in the store, toilet paper and paper towels, laundry soap, dog food (ripped bags and near expiration dates are around 30% cheaper on big brands), some canned goods, pop tarts (who cares if they are a week expired, they are full of preservatives anyway), candy, drinks, coffee pods for my Kuerig (50% off), deodorant, spices, mayonnaise and salad dressings, baby items by the boat load (diapers, organic food pouches [never expired], snacks, etc, all 50% off retail price elsewhere), some freezer items, and toys and baby clothes. Some times I find huge bargains on organic diary items too, just be sure to check the date. Keep in mind, a lot of stuff is scratch n dent, you need to look at the product you are buying and make a

BUYER BEWARE

I would not even give them 1 star if it was an option. They should be ashamed of their false pricing throughout the store. They are no better price than their competitor down the street whom knows MUCH more about handling customers issues and complaints. Not to mention how to appropriately price their merchandise, as to not mislead their customers. They have TERRIBLE customer service, and rudely speak derogatory foreign language in front of customers as if half of america doesn t speak spanish already. They should be ashamed of themselves.
