The selection of Powder Coating technology offers the consumer an alternative to liquid coatings that is economical, efficient, and environmentally friendly. It produces a high quality finish and is available in a broad range of colors, glosses, and finish textures (i.e., smooth, wrinkle, hammertone, antique, etc.). While the whole concept of "dry paint" seems futuristic, the Powder Coating process is actually very simple and about 50 years old. A suitable formulation is developed as a finely ground powder; the material is then sprayed on the surface to be coated as a thin layer held in place by static electricity. The part is placed in an oven to melt the powder which then flows and fuses into a continuous coating which is very hard and has no porosity. Because Powder Coating does not use solvents there are no chemicals released into the air. Over spray powder is captured in dust collectors and may be reused or baked to render it inert and disposable. Thus EPA regulations do not add expense to this process. Superior finishes combined with durability reduce maintenance and extend the life of coated products. Many product manufacturers are enjoying the top quality offered by Powder Coating. Auto parts are seeing the application of Powder Coatings where a protective as well as decorative finish is desirable. Frames/chassis for motorcycles, racecars, street rods and antique cars, as well as bumpers, battery trays, wheels and even engine parts like valve covers and intake manifolds are some of the common applications at our shop. The chip resistance and durability of powder coating is particularly beneficial in the harsh conditions endured by suspension parts. Additional items include bicycle frames, fence and railings, kitchen appliances, garden equipment and lawn furniture. Harley-Davidson motorcycle frames have all been Powder Coated at the factory since 1987. Chevrolet, Ford, and Chrysler have a joint venture to convert a plant to coat entire cars with clear Powder Coats to stop the effects of UV fading and acid rain on new car finishes. Building products such as aluminum extrusions used for window and door frames are another area taking advantage of the durability of Powder Coating. Everything from spaghetti drying racks to stadium seats have been successfully Powder Coated. * 25 Foot Batch Oven * 300 + Stock Colors - Color Matching Available * No Minimum Lot Size * Flexible Scheduling - Quick Turnaround * Large or Small Parts - Heavy Parts * Abrasive & Media Blasting * Work Guaranteed * Quotes Provided Upon Request Thank you for taking the time to look over this information; we hope that it will assist you in understanding the process, materials, and advantages of this modern finishing technology.

I dropped off my rusted lawn furniture to Powder Craft and I couldn't believe how well they turned out. The chairs and table look better than they did when they were new. I have five young children that destroy everything and so far they have not been able to scratch the finish. I highly recommend Powder Craft, they saved my furniture and the job was completed on time.
