I have been going to Rabih for thirty plus years! It shocks me to read some of these bad reviews. It seems as if other business have been posting on here for their own agenda because out of all the years i've been with Rabih he as never treated me badly in any way.

HIGWAY ROBBERY!!! I had my transmission built exactly two years ago in Portsmouth, NH at AAMCO. A few days ago, I started having issues on the highway in Stratham and pulled off and unfortunately ended up at Herb and Rob's to have my car looked at and fixed. They charged me $576.99 for two transmission sensors and an oil change which I didn't need or ask for--he later said it was a mistake and would take it off my bill. Rob charged me $87 for two sensors, $180 for computer diagnostics, $255 for 3 hours of labor and $25 for fluid. I called Paul at AAMCO and he said it is unheard of for two sensors to go at the same time. Only one would have gone. AAMCO's diagnostic fee is FREE, I should have only needed one sensor, and it would have taken AAMCO less than one hour to fix. The only thing that sounded right to him was the $25 fluid charge. I asked him how much he would have charged if he had done the work and he said less than $100 because I was a repeat customer. If I were a new customer, it would have been closer to $200. I WAS TOTALLY RIPPED OFF!! Plus Rob tells me I need a tune up. I think I'll go somewhere else for that, IF I even need it!! Plus he tells me I need a new water pump........mine was replaced less than 1.5 years ago.......I'm glad to see it's people like me that donate to his Benz and Porche fund!!

If I could give Herb & Rob's less than one star, I would. A lot of fast-talking about how much they know followed by a big bill and no results. They failed in violation of state law to give me an estimate and then charged me $250 to diagnose an engine problem and couldn't even tell me what was wrong with it. Then I took it across the street to Ford and for $89 they did a complete diagnostic and came up with the right answer (two cracked valve heads, exhaust gases in the coolant, possible head gasket problem but not likely because the two cylinders with low compression were on opposite sides). Herb and Rob screwed around with my truck for more than four hours and all they could say was one cylinder had low compression (and they didn't even note which one). Their fix was to change the spark plugs (which wasn't a fix at all). I found these guys to be rip-offs. Many times dealerships can give you more accurate answers and even if they charge more, they are going to be there to stand behind their work and they'll do it with the right parts. Steer clear of Herb & Rob's Auto Clinic--- they screwed me and could do the same to you.!

Herb & Rob's the Greatest!!!

This business does incredible work. Their pricing puts the dealerships to shame. I won't take my Tahoe anywhere else now. I recommend them for any auto work or inspection.

AWESOME

This place has excellent service, I wouldn't go anywhere else. I had a BMW and i though only the dealerships new had to fix it. So I went into the dealership and they were going to charge me $1,000. I took my car here after my friend recommended it to me and I was shocked with the service. They only charged me about $500, HALF the price of the dealership. Who ever said, i'll bring the car to the dealership because they know the car the best...the only thing the dealerships know is to rip you off. There service was fast and efficient. There owner is supper nice and he is very respectful and wants you to come back...I KNOW I'LL BE BACK FOR SURE!
