I recently undertook a project to replace some support posts holding up a gazebo roof over my spa. I bought Wrap and Snap column wraps and base trim from Builders Millwork, and post caps that the Builders’ salesman said could be used for upper trim. The wrap and base trims were installed, but when the post cap boxes were opened it was obvious that they could not be used for the project. When I took the caps back to Builders Millwork for refund, the purchasing manager (after consultation with the owner, she said) refused to accept any company responsibility for this situation, saying that we bought and signed for these caps, we should have known better, and the company would do nothing more. After much discussion, they said they would take the caps back, but would refund less than half of the purchase price.

I rate these people very low on both knowledge of their product and on customer service. I won’t do business with them again.
