Application of Apexior coatings, first produced and marketed by John Dampney in 1906, enabled the English power industry to solve a variety of costly corrosion problems. To fill the growing demand of Apexior in the United States, a group of investors incorporated the Dampney Company to manufacture and market the coatings. Dampney Company designs, develops, manufactures and distributes engineered coating systems for specialized applications. The company serves the refining, petrochemical, chemical processing, oil and gas, pipeline, power, original equipment manufacturing, pulp and paper and materials processing markets. Dampney supplies its high-temperature solutions throughout the world. Established in 1917, Dampney Company is located in Everett, Mass.
