Steve and Dave's is one of my favorite places in Humboldt. Steve and Dave are great, and the bartenders are always fun. The prices are very reasonable. On Arts Alive Eureka they often have a local band and dancing. Four pool tables, a juke box, and they're one of the few places in Humboldt that has a smoking area outdoors where you can take your drink. It tends to draw a very diverse crowd (bright eyed, bushy tailed 21 year olds all the way to grandma and grandpa) but it doesn't attract the usual unsavory group that you might find at some of the other bars.
