Either the number listed isn't a working number or you don't have a good line. Tried numerous times to get ahold of someone at 10:57am and nothing-

I couldn't find a plumbing part for my shower at the local big-box home supply and was referred here. I didn't mind not being greeted, but the person behind the counter provided the most unfriendly customer service I have ever encountered in my life. It was clear he didn't want to help me in the least, didn't look at me, or ever crack a smile. I left swearing I'd never do business there and would rather stand out naked in the rain (in the winter) and take a shower that way than ever give them my business or a penny of my money. After reading the other reviews here I can see that I am not the only person with a negative impression of this unfriendly place. If it's going to kill you to be friendly and try to help people - why be in business in the first place?????

The owner himself, Doug Schirmer, and an assistant unclogged a toilet drain in my garage. In the process they sprayed fecal material all over the wall, floor and several personal items I had in there. I was upset that they didn't have the decency to clean it up before they left. When I called to request they return to clean up the mess they made, they told me they had done the best they could -left material still wet, no signs of cleaning or smearing where they even attempted to clean. The owner Doug told me he had no intention of returning and that it was my fault my things were in the way and was angered he had to move them at all- when he could have easily asked me to do so. I am disgusted by his audacity and level of unprofessional-ism. It is truly amazing that someone would treat a paying customer in this manner and expect to stay in business. Although the business was handed over to new management around 2007 or 2008, the guy who now "owns" it was *already involved* in the company when they did faulty work (especailly at my home in 2006!). Who knows, maybe he's the one who installed the plumbing carelessly. But even IF this new owner had nothing to do with TPW previously, he is STILL responsible. When you buy into a company, you also buy into the previous history, etc. The new owner is unhelpful and was not only disrespectful of what happened to us (wound up costing us several thousand$), but he was equally disrespectful to our contractor. He has photos of the wall and floor damage caused by this company and he tried to present that to TPW and discuss why they should make good with their customers...but TPW was rude to him as well. I'm shocked that this company is still in business considering the number of nods I get when I mention my experience with others. Almost everyone I talk to had already known not to use them. Interesting!
