Our decisions are made by preference not by word of mouth so you need to come in and see for yourself before judging. I am 30, in good shape and prefer to work out in a facility that challenges but does not pride itself on superficicial-unrealistic expectations which do not qualify for the majority public. In my opinion, if you have the desire to be healthy and to find a good variety of classes, equipment with the luxury of pool, sauna and steam room you really should give it a try. Crossfit is provided free on Saturday not to mention the wide range of classes this gym is positively one of the better gyms in the area.

All about the money, they really do not care about customers. I have heard a customer crying about how she cant afford her membership but they still charged for late payments. Even if you do not attend the gym you have to pay each month.. if you have a serious surgery they can add a month or two to the end of your contract that is about it. Close on sunday at 5 pm, every other day at 11. no towels available unless you pay. No workout mats except for in the yoga room. I mean the list goes on.

The staff is nice, most of the machines are not outdated (maybe they were when the other people wrote these reviews?) and they offer a fairly wide variety of classes. I also like the gender-separated workout rooms and pool days! My criticisms are that definitely the pool needs to be cleaned more frequently, it has gotten too crowded for its size, and it caters to an older crowd so it's not the best place for those who aren't into relaxed, slower-paced workout facilities.

Oakway has very old equipment which is often broken/out of service, bad or nonexistent wi-fi which doesn't reach the workout room for women, poor ventilation which leaves the workout rooms stuffy and overly heated and horrible customer service in their business office. They lock you into a contract and offer no way to exit said contract that is feasible and not a way to just make it so difficult: you're stuck. Do NOT join this gym. It is not worth it!

This business is ALL ABOUT THE MONEY - AND NOTHING ELSE. Staff are not helpful, the pool and changing areas are not clean or in good repair. Equipment is OLD and also not in good repair. The worst part in this workout areas are way too overcrowded. Any other fitness center would probably be a better option.
