I've always taken my broken down and tired tools to Jims and have for the most part been well pleased

I would suggest going to another repair company in town that wants to provide quality professional customer service.

I could not get my thickness planer blade screws loose and looking at available authorized service locations Jiim's was the most convenvient, although it was 40 miles away. I called down and they said they could fix it, but were rather busy so it could take a few weeks. Time was not a problem. When I drove to drop the planner off they took a quick look and had a mechanic jump on fixing it because they knew I drove down. In 15 minutes I was on my with a fixed planner. They suggested a store a couple doors down to get a couple replacement screws.
