Used to be my favouriite place but as of today 1/10/15 its off my book. 2pm we went for lunch and we enjoyed it till I went up for ice cream but instead I saw beef ribs so I picked one and put on my plate. At that moment the woman runs up and firmly said , that if I want that rib she is going to charge me dinner price bc those were for dinner.I said sorry I didn't know .I was embarrased. She grabbed the plate from me and stormed out to put the rib back in the buffet table. Everybody was looking at me and wondering why she took my food away. There are better ways for her to handle this instead of embarrasing the customer infront of all the diners..Very disappointed!!

I love their dinner service. Fresh crab legs on the buffet year round depending on season. King Crab, Snow Crab or Dungeness. My absolute favorite Chinese restaurant.

Empire use to be my favorite place to eat in Eugene, However as of tonight it is off of mylist. In case you don't know it is an all you can eat place. Great Food!We went in too celebrate two birthdays and on anniversery. We arrived about 3:45. They were out of several things. We were assured they would be filling things soon.When they finaly got the butter shrimp out I went to get some, only to be told I couldn't have any as I came in during the lunch menu and unless we paid for dinner I couldn't have any.. I was the only one that even wanted the shrimp, out of five people.When it says all you can eat, I expect all you can eat. If you go to any other all you can eat, and get there before the four o'clock time you still get the food for lunch price.I couldn't believe her attatude.Take my advice and skip this place, the food is good , but not worth the hasselLaura Huckins Lebanon, OR
