I started seeing Debra during a serious depressive episode and during a time of change, death in the family and other serious circumstances. She was calm, perceptive, patient and professional. She was particularly good at knowing when to support and when to push. She also worked very well with my family physician. It's amazing to me how much my life has changed in two years. She was key to that change.

I have seen Dr. Debra Jackson, phD off and on over a 10 year period. This journey both elated and terrified me at times. I don't suppose anyone starts therapy without a certain amount of fear. My experience was that whatever fears I had were banished by the knowledge I gained about who I am and how I work. Debra was able help me sort out the pieces and put together a new life. Dr. Debra Jackson is respectful of each individuals belief systems. She has a sense about what she needs to be gentle with and what she needs to give just a little push towards. She is totally professional in her ethical standards. My life is balanced and full. I am able to handle the good and the bad that living a "normal" life brings. I am aware of the lessons she taught me and the pitfalls she helped me become aware of. A part of her is with me, it became a part of who I am, and what is the best of me. I am grateful for her guidance intellect, and wisdom.
