Just had a chance during the Trials to have the most fabulous meal I have had on the road in eons. I kept going back through the entire trials and never got tired of what this place had to offer. My faves were the Saigon Sub--if you like spice, you'll love this--and the calamari. But I found every item I tried, pizza, burgers, mac and cheese, etc just perfect. I topped off my visit the last night with the steak and it could not have been better. Can't wait for an excuse to get back to Eugene and the "Alley" again.

This place is fantastic! The menu has a little something for everyone and ranges from $7 fish tacos to $10 pumpkin enchiladas to $12 salmon to a $20 steak. Everything was delicious. The menu definitely has a northwest flare to it, with nice twists on old standbys like mac & cheese with walla walla onions and crispy thin-cut onion rings. Inside, it has a cool, laidback, cozy vibe. In one room between the bar and dining room, you can sit in old, vintage theater seats and watch sci-fi movies projected onto the wall inside a picture frame. The bar is wonderful and loungy. I especially like the wine bottle pendant lights hanging over the copper top bar- very cool. Outside, there are patios in the front and back. The front is perfect for enjoying a snack and a cocktail while people-watching. The back is surrounded by bamboo trees, offering a little more seclusion, and has tables all situated around a little firepit which is perfect on a mild spring or summer evening. I had a very good experience with the wait staff. The service is attentive and helpful and they all appeared to really enjoy working there. Thumbs up to this place!
