I took my cats to Hillview Bed & Biscuit for boarding. When I dropped them off, I had a bad feeling about leaving them there. It was my first time to the facility and when I arrived, a lady up front said they did not have my reservation and then argued with me about it. This continued until someone else came and found my reservation paperwork - very rude! After that was figured out, they took the first cat back (I went along to look at the condos). The cat boarding facilities seemed dirty and there were several cats in the room that were not in kitty condos, but just out roaming around. Also, despite having reservations, the kitty condos were not clean and ready for my cats upon their arrival. During their visit, they were to receive exams and shots, as well as get their nails trimmed. When I picked my cats up, their nails were not trimmed, I was charged incorrectly for services (first visit should have been free for new clients as was told to me when I arrived and documented in a written estimate), they had the wrong cat name with the cat weight on the paperwork... and to top it all off my cats came home from the Bed and Biscuit with fleas!!!!! When I went back in the next day to discuss the issues with the lady at the front desk, she did not seem to care, did not apologize, and did not offer me anything to make everything right. I am extremely disappointed and very angry. I learned that you should always trust your gut and I had a bad feeling about the place from the beginning. I did not get the feeling that anyone there cared about my animals or my inconveniences.

Dr. Halper and staff are the best! We had used a different veterinarian for a while with our first dog and second dog, Tinkerbell. The other veterinarian would require three technicians to hold my Tinkerbell down just to trim her toe nails. We started to go to Hillview when we were unable to get Tinkerbell to even go into the other veterinarian's office! We were greeted with a smile. Dr. Halper and his staff treated us with respect and, more importantly, showed Tinkerbell care and compassion. Now when we go they greet our dog first, by name! She goes in wagging her tail. No longer do we need a group of people to hold her down to trim her toe nails. She goes willingly. Dr. Halper has been right on when alerting us to possible knee problems and was able to determine the exact treatment, including a referral for both surgeries. He has also performed in-office surgeries to remove other growths. He does it all! Not only is he a great veterinarian, but the Bed and Biscuit is the best boarding place in town! Our Tinkerbell loves to go there, gets treated very nicely, and the TLC package gives Tinkerbell the same treatment there that she would get at home. Hillview Bed and Biscuit is, by far, the BEST place in Reynoldsburg and the surrounding area to take your pets.

Hillview Vet Clinic is a great place to take your animals. I used to go to another vet for many years and when I had an emergency with my dog they wouldn't take me in. So I called Hillview and they got me in right away. I was so happy, I had never been there before and they were so compassionate over the phone. When I got there I was nervous because I have never met these people and my dog was used to the other clinic with the staff there since he was a pup. My dog is my child, so to have strangers look at him I was very scared, but the second I walked into Hillview my fears went away, the girls were so kind. I was very glad to have met Dr. Halper, he was such a nice guy. He listened to my concerns, and asked me so many questions, which I realized my vet that I used never really went into depth with me in the past. So that was pretty cool of him to do. He was very kind hearted and was so sweet to my little Henry. I have decided that Hillview was going to be my new Vet from here on out. Thank you so much to Dr Halper and his staff. You have made me a lifetime client.

When we took her in there he would do the same test over and over again and nothing would come up on the blood test. He wouldnt look past any these test. So we took her to another vet after a year and she found she had cushing disease, liver issues and pancreitis. At this point after it manifesting itself after a year and not ever being caught we lost her this weekend. I told my other half that there is something more wrong with her then what DR halper was finding so please dont take your pet to him...

Dr. Halper is a very caring and conscientious veterinarian. I feel very confident in his abilities. His staff as well is very helpful and friendly. He does a wonderful job taking care of my pet family -- two dogs and one cat. Hillview Vet has taken care of my pets for more than 15 years. One time I had an emergency situation, and I was able to see Dr. Halper that morning. I also have used Hillview Vet for grooming -- Cindy is outstanding! The kennel staff always makes my dogs' stay enjoyable. I don't worry at all when I leave them at Hillview Vet. I recommend Dr. Halper and Hillview Vet.
