In April 2011 I hired this company because I live near Estacade,Or. I had not cleaned the chimney's in a long time and wanted to install a cap on one chimney that we seldom use. I had them clean the wood stove chimney at the same time which we use often. After he cleaned the chimney (he did not enter the house all work was performed outside) He said we needed a new flue liner and clean and seal the outside of the chimney for a total of $2590 plus the cast of this service call which was $489. I thought I would wait to do that work later. We used the wood stove the winter of 2011 and at the end of the season the stove started to smoke at the joints so we stopped using it . I was skeptical of the work they performed so I recently hired another chimney cleaning company to clean the wood stove chimney. They cleaned the chimney from outside and inside by removing the stove pipe form the stove . He spent 2 hours cleaning the stove and the chimney and said he had not seen one as plugged up as this one. He said that only the top one third of the chimney had been cleaned and the flue was in good condition but the lower part was totally plugged. This is a bad company.

We hired Cascade Chimney Care to rebuild our chimney chase and they did a super job. Not only did they give us a competitive bid, they were on time, professional and did great clean up after. You can't go wrong with this company.
