I went to Raining Cats and Dogs for the 1st time today. Whoever said that Patrick was not a customer service person was mistaken. He is one of the best. My cat, Barnaby, had never been to a groomer. He is 10 years old, and has so much fur that I was living and breathing it. I got a lions cut for him and now we are both happy. I highly recommend this place and will continue to take Barnaby back whenever I feel it's necessary. He is happy and so am I.

Great people that really care about the dogs and their customers very conscientious

hi, my name is shonna and i took my dog, crosby joe cocker to be groomed,. the cut and service were excellent. they where there at 8am as they said they would be. i couldnt be happier. special shout out to jill and christie. i also told them that crosby is feelin his manhood ( not neutered) and he may growl, but i have never known him to nip. they said he was a perfect gentleman, which endears them to me even more. crosby had his first cut at PETSMART, it was okay and went okay. the next time he went to be groomed, it took over 8 hours, with an appointment.. needless to say i was NOT A HAPPY CAMPER, neither was crosby. i would just like to remind people, just because a business isnt owned by a large chain, it can still be outstanding. oh and i forgot, the same services at PETSMART would have cost over 70 bucks. support your local small business and check out "rainin cats and dogs" 760-7430136, sunset, ( by the bus stop) esco. thank you

I have taken my small 15lb cockapoo to this shop numerous times. Each time I felt 4-5 hours for grooming was a bit much. This last vist was 6 1/2 and it will be her last. I dropped her off at 0630 and 5 hours later I called to see if she was done. They told me another hour. I showed up at 12:30 and she had obviously just been cut with the scissors and still needed to be clipped to even her up. She was extremely unhappy, crying and barking. I was asked to wait outside. 6 1/2 hours later she was finally done. Well done in their eyes. The cut was horrible. They brought her out to me and handed her to me with all the loose hair all over her. They didn't even bother to brush her off. If they had groomed her within a reasonable amount of time she probably wouldn't have been so unhappy when they finally started to give her a haircut 5+ hours later. They obviously have priority customers that they take care of first, regardless of what time you drop them off. There is no excuse for keeping someones dog in a cage for that amount of time...NONE! They need to consider taking actual appointments instead of trying to cram in as many dogs as they can in a day

I've always had a wonderful experience with their service. Great quality & reasonable price!!Definitely the best in Escondio!!
