Brain is a very honest, down to earth professional. Prices are always very reasonable especially for the high quality of work you will get. Wouldn’t bring my vehicle anywhere else.

Brian of D-Macs was closing the shop when my wife and I pulled up with our vehicle in need of repair. After locking the doors, Brian and I spoke about my vehicle. Brian proceeded to re-open the shop and grabbed his tools to make a quick diagnosis. In the end, Brian took the car and repaired the issues at a fraction of what I was previously quoted from another shop. He listened to me about our particular needs for the car in terms of use, he gave me options, and ultimately he suggested a path which did not necessarily result in the greatest profit for him. Brian said that it was the right thing to do to meet the needs for our car and increase the longevity for use. My vehicle runs great now and I suggested that my father use D Macs for his pickup. My father gave me the same feedback after working with Brian. He couldn’t have been more helpful and professional. I’m proud to say that I have a new mechanic in town.

Brian at D Mac's is very personable and provides great customer service. He knows about all types of cars, whether they are new cars, older cars or even vintage cars. The prices are very reasonable and you don't have to worry about surprises or being upcharged for something that you don't need. If he does find an additional problem while working on your car, he will call you and talk to you about it - he won't fix something without your agreement. He shows that he cares about his customers in this way and by taking good care of your car. We highly recommend D Mac's in Escondido!

No you’re not dreaming. This is what happens everyday at D.Mac’s Automotive, that’s why they have become kind of a local landmark, if you mention the name, someone always responses, hey I know that place, and he works on my cars. Mac as he’s called is Dennis MacDonald (now you get where the D.mac comes from) He and his wife Cheri believe in good old fashioned customer service (something a lot of places have forgotten about) their motto: HONESTY IN AUTOMOTIVE.

This is D.Mac’s specialty, from restoration repairs, parts and advice you will see, if you have been to the local race track or drag strip, Cruising Grand on Friday night or at one of the local Classic car shows, one name is sure to come up, D.mac’s automotive. Mac is well known for his ability to fine tune these gentle old metal beasts and let them show off their sleek and gentle side, while on the other hand, he can bring the monster in them alive making them a thunderous fire breathing, competitor shaking in their boots machine, I’ve seen it, it has been done!
