WARNING!!!!!!!! DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!

Met with Wilson (owner) and he gave me a verbal estimate on an automated gate system that we agreed on but with no pictures, renderings, agreed upon work, etc. He said that he would come out, make measurements and cut the concrete. He then collected thousands (approximately half the quote) from me. Upon returning home from work, I found an unauthorized wall that had been built. I immediately questioned him about this and the future gates that were to be built. He asked me to send him photos of what we wanted. After doing so, we received no replies to our emails or texts for 2 weeks. Upon letting him know that we were going to go with another company, he replied that he was out of the country and simply sent out some colleagues to RE-BID the job. Upon learning this, I was very upset and threatened legal action. He was then magically back in the country a few days later. I let him know that I was very unhappy with his communication, lack of professionalism and that I needed his initial work (small wall & column) to be re-done. He said that he would only do it if I REPAID him and was not willing to remedy His Mistake or Re-Do an Unauthorized wall. Obviously, we parted ways and he essentially stole $1,000's of dollars from me.
