I have been to the Escondido location 4 times in the last year , it is great for getting supplies and food. I had my green winged macaws talons trimmed and wings clipped two employees assisted one another one toweled and held, while the other did the clipping they were quick and efficient and did an amazing job. The bird room is well kept and the staff does a great job of rotating parrots outside their individual cages to large outside perches for play time and interaction with guest.

I bought my Greenwing Macaw here a couple years ago and they put up with lots of visits, questions, and phone calls. They also provide free wing and nail clippings for free.



The staff is always friendly and very easy to deal with. I had problems with my baby greenwing and had to take him back for a short time and they wanted to do anything possible to make me happy.



Most bird shops go out of business quickly but Bird Haven has been in business for many years providing excellent service and quality care. The prices on bulk food is good but the cages are expensive although high quality. Anytime someone asks where I purchased my baby the answer is always Bird Haven.

I enjoy visiting the exotic collection of birds, many of which are tame & friendly. They have a good return policy & everything you could need, including boarding services...the employees are friendly & knowledgable. Very fun !
