Founded in 1899, Kenton County Public Library maintains an extensive collection of local history and genealogy materials. The library offers more than 7,000 reels of microfilm, over 1,000 photographs, nearly 100 maps, newspapers and a genealogy database. It organizes various events and activities for small children, teenagers, youths, adults and senior citizens. Kenton County Public Library offers a game room for tournaments. In addition, it organizes story sessions for children from ages 2 to 6. The library has a huge collection of books, DVDs, CDs, videos, audiotapes, encyclopedias and periodicals. In addition, Kenton County Public Library operates summer reading clubs for children and teenagers. The library is located in Erlanger, Ky.
