WiseGuys Moving is beyond unprofessional from start to finish.

I called Corey 1 month before my moving date to have my truck loaded with my boxes and furniture. For an appointment that I thought was scheduled, I received no follow-up, and once I called to confirm, I found out there was nothing on his books, as he has a new system and still needs to learn how to use it.

After I scheduled my appointment, there was a lot of back and forth regarding the times and dates that his guys could be there. Once my moving date arrived, a team of 2 men (I requested 3) showed up 1.5 hours late. One of the men showed up on time but needed to leave and return because Corey failed to tell him the items he needed to bring, though it was discussed when I initially scheduled the appointment.

The job that was supposed to take 2 hours took 3.5 (for a 2-bedroom apartment). Once we arrived in Maryland, we found that not one piece of furniture was ruined, but FOUR. From antiques that can't be replaced, a table that came in multiple pieces, to a couch that is now destroyed from a plastic syrup bottle being punctured. Please note all boxes were CLEARY marked, so they could see what was in each box (food, fragile, blankets, etc.).

I texted Corey with photos, requesting that he pay $150 to professionally clean my couch (though it's probably ruined); the rest of the damaged items will be a wash. He asked for a call, but once on the phone, he said he didn't plan on reimbursing me for anything, as I couldn't prove it was his team's fault, and he doesn't feel responsible.

He called me to "find common ground" but wasn't willing to compensate me for anything, as I couldn't determine what broke and ruined my things. He said his guys can't take the time to read every box to know what's in it (so they don't pack furniture near food) - He said that's white glove service which they don't provide.

I am shocked at the unprofessionalism and unwillingness to take any responsibility.
