Been once probably won't ever go back...

It sounds worse than it is... Prices were good, they had lots of stuff, but there were way to many dead or dying fish in their tanks.

Very bad business practices

VERY bad customer service, bought a purple lobster that did not even make it home. Called to see if they would give me store credit since it wasn't like it died several days later, it didn't even make it home with me. No luck on the store credit, basically told me I was out of luck and hung up on me during the middle of the conversation we were having. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS, they don't care about anything but getting your money and could care less what happens to their animals in your hands. Very bad business, this lobster probably cost them $4, the least they could do would be to replace it.

Not so Good

My wife and I went to South Broadway Tropicals to looks for a 2 new additions to our 75 Gallon display. We had purchased a few fish there before and had generally been happy with their livestock, though their tanks are not in the best of condition. To make a long story short, my wife selected a bi-color angel that had some signs of distress. after I inquired about their livestock policy, the representative who was attending us said that there was no-guarantee on ********* livestock, he indicated that, given the *************, they would be willing to work with us, he re-iterated this several times. We purchased the Bi-Color and a ArcEye HawkfishThe details on my setup is:1 x 75 gallon Display tank1 x 20 galllon QT tank.I have had the QT tank setup and running for over a month and do regular water changes and perform Water quality tests on it. Before we went to SBT, I had performed another change, using water from my Display tank and tested it all out. I also added Cupramine and

South Broadway Tropicals- ugly store, great prices

South Broadway Tropicals is not beautiful, but the prices are worth it and are the best I've seen. Not much coral. Selection is good but the store is not huge. Look over your fish well beacuse they don't quarentine thier fish. Shipments are on Tuesdays. It is up to you the hobbyest to know what fish are compadable. Don't be afraid to ask! Honest and friendly advise.

I've had great experience

I've been in the fish keeping hobby for 6 years now. The employees at Broadway Tropicals have been more helpful and knowledgable than 90% of the establishments I've been in around Colorado. They'll always try and save you money with discounted parts and accessories, not just the top name in the industry that always costs much much more. They're all about functionality. I have a salt water tank and their marine fish selection is always top notch. Puffers, Triggers, Lionfish, Reef Fish, you name it. Not sure what the other reviews are saying hear. Half the stores around this neighborhood don't even have English speaking employees, let alone reliable and affordable product. There is also another great store in this area called KEYS ISLAND. Look that one up as well. Both of these businesses are well ran in my eyes.
