Thanks for the excellent service Five Sons!

The prior owner had Five Sons Roofing to put the tile roof on the house. This summer, I had a leaking at the 2nd floor, so I called Five Sons Roofing asking them to come and give me a quote of the repair. They told me that they will take a look at the file of my house and call me back but they NEVER called me back and they didn't even pick up my phone when I called later.

Let me describe my recent experience. Had roof damage from wind. Called this local,family owned business bc it's local family owned. Made an appt one week later on Friday. Day before I get a call saying they can't make it. Ok. Everything is fine. Rescheduled for Saturday at noon. No show. I call and leave a message. On Monday, no call back. I call Monday at noon. Lady states she got my message and is checking it out. She will call back later that day. It's now 7:22pm. No callback at all. Rotten way to treat someone. Inexplicable. Avoid

I have a geometric dome roof. Outside of the metro area After calling several roofing companies only a few would bother to show up. Chris Oliver not only showed but accepted my challenging project. I just want to thank Chris Oliver and his staff for a first class job.

Absolutely THE worst company I have EVER dealt with. My review below was because I had a GREAT experience. HOWEVER now my roof has failed and is leaking. My brand new kitchen cabinets are getting ruined as bubbles appear on my ceiling. I called Five Sons Roofing to explain the leak. They wont fix it. They are claiming my porch is causing the Leak. My house was built in 1959 and the porch is 30 years old. Amazing my roof never leaked before even when it was like 15 years old. So i guess the porch is the problem. The Repair guy was drunk when he showed up at our house. He told us he would inspect the roof through the attic tomorrow and made an appt but than he called me today and said that his roof crew said it was the Porch so basically he isn't coming. I sat here waiting as my roof continues to leak for the snow to melt while this drunk guy changed his mind and story and acted erratic daily. I should have reported this to the insurance company last week. I hope the owner of this Roofin

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE! I can go on and on about how bad this company is. Just read the BBB reviews for yourself and see what you think. Also the positive reviews posted here are from the owner of 5 Sons and his friends. Look for yourself. The positive reviews here are posted by them (NOT REAL CUSTOMERS). Please save yourself time and frustration and find a better roofing company.

I saw that they had a BBB Gold Star rating so I decided to give them a call. My cousin used another roofing company and had a bad experience- they replaced an old roof but still had many leaks. I didnt want to go to the headaches they did, so I wanted to make sure I got a roof from someone who has been in the business for a long time. They came to my house very prompt and gave me a quote. The quote was priced right- I got 3 other bids. The replaced my roof and I am a happy person. I am glad I went to 5 Sons Roofing. If you need someone you can trust, give them a call.

Thank you for your assistance in helping me through the roofing process. I was nervous about having to deal with my insurance company but your company stepped in on my behalf and I was able to have my roof replaced with very little hassel. I orginally used Five Sons Roofing to replace my CarPort Roof. After completing the work on time and professionally they informed me that I did need a new house roof and even the city inspector said I did. Less than a week later I had my roof and Five Sons talked with my insurance adjuster and the next thing I knew is the new main roof was approved and I didn't even have a deductable. They were able to leverage the orginal deductable. Thanks Five Sons for being honest, ethical, caring and most of all timely. You came when you said you would and surpased my expectations. I highly recommend!! Your impressive creditianals and advertising got me to call you but your professionalism and quality work will keep me loyal and I will recommend you to others. I really appreciated how you spray painted the Vents a nice color to match my new roof. My roof looks amazing. Ken came to the house and the color he helped me pick looks fantastic. I worked with Sales Rep Ken and the gal that answers the phone. I had roof damage called several roofing companies and all seemed shady to me. I liked the credientials of five sons. The professionalism and the obvious experience they have. I highly recommend.

Thank you Five Sons for putting on such a great roof. Everyone that I delt with was always so polite, they kept me informed as to what was going on, and dare I say, I think I've got the best looking roof on the block, several neighbors have asked who I used hoping they can avoid some of the nightmares that other neighbors have had.

Pros:Prompt service, good price, was willing to work with my insurance company for me.

Cons:I waited too long to call them, they should have been the first call I made.

Five Sons Roofing replaced our roof in Feb., 2010. Five Sons Roofing and their staff were very helpful and professional. All work was completed as promised and the roof is beautiful. I would recommend this company to anyone without hesitation!

I had contacted several different companies after the storm to try and get a quote and was put off by all of them, or they would not give me a flat price on my roof replacement, only wanted my insurance papers. When I called Five Sons roofing, they were very polite, the representative came out and actually got on my roof before giving me a proposal with an actual number on it! It was after the fact that I mentioned it was an insurance job. They worked with my insurance company and I was able to get the new roof that I needed. The whole experience was one that I wish more companies and service providors would give me, and absolute joy if you can believe it!! I hope that I do not need their services any time soon, but they will be the first ones that I call and I have been referring them to all of my friends and family.

I manage several commercial properties and have contracted Five Sons Roofing on several properties. Their customer service is the best I've ever seen, The jobsites were always clean and and all roofs that have been installed were a first class job. Chris Oliver is always a pleasure to work with. Thanks again guys!!!

Very Pleased with the work provided by Five Sons, Their customer service was impecable, Roof is Pretty too!!!

Signed contract in Sept and they are still not done.

When they were working had to clean up lunch mess daily.

Workers twisted my roof jack so hard that it cost $614.00 to get that repaired and had CO2 leak in the house, which is very dangerous.

Do not show up, do not return phone calls. Still waiting now for a guy that sais he would be here today at noon and it is now 4pm.



No quality in there work.

Called Monday and explained I needed an estimate this week and asked was that possible? Was told that a tech would be on the roof Wednesday and would have the estimate Thursday…Called roofer on Wednesday and transferred me to the tech…said that he had not gotten to house but would be there tomorrow (Thursday) and would have estimate to me Friday. Thursday talked to him again and said that something came up and he didn’t go to the house. Come Friday…still nothing. Tech apologizes 10 times but has no legitimate reason why this company was unable to follow through with what they told a potential new client. Tech says that he is going to go out right after lunch (Friday) and will have the estimate to me 1st thing Monday. What do you know…come Monday, nothing. Called and left a message for a manger to call me back. Owner Chris calls me back and said that he will talk to the tech but tells me that the tech knows this is a real estate deal and they don’t always pan out so he may be putting me on the back burner…YOU ARE THE OWNER…THESE ARE YOUR EMPLOYEES AND YOUR CUSTOMERS? Now it is Tuesday afternoon and received an email from Chris saying that there is an attached estimate to the email. Nope, there is no attachment. Call the office and Melisa answers, I explain, she says that Sarah is the email person and she will be back in a half hr. You have got to be kidding me…you have one person who is able to send an email, a owner who not only knows but allows techs to put potential customers on the back burner and a company in general who doesn't follow through with what they say. If my experience of trying to get an estimate, which I still have not received, is any indication of the way this company does work…Be careful and good luck.
