Founded in 1976, Walden Family Services is a foster family and adoption agency. Based in Lancaster, Calif., the agency offers mental health services, including individual and family therapy, group therapy, skills training, parent coaching and psychiatric services. It renders foster care services for pregnant and parenting teens as well as abused and neglected children with developmental disabilities and special health care needs. Walden Family Services offers a range of programs, adoption services, therapeutic treatment foster care, independent living after care services and independent futures. The agency is an accredited member of the California Alliance of Child and Family Services and Foster Family-Based Treatment Association. It serves San Diego, Riverside, Los Angeles and Orange Counties of California.
