After purchasing all my paint and supplies for a new home construction job I found that the whole-house matched paint color was slightly off. Things happen when matching and I had no intention of asking for corrected paint, nor my money back. I did, however, go back to the store to offer feedback regarding two paint brands that don't seem to color match well in the chosen white color I had purchased. Perhaps this information would help the store or a customer avoid a similar situation in the future.

Instead of accepting the feedback I was informed by the man working at the counter that my assessment was incorrect. Despite arriving with samples the next day I was STILL told I was incorrect, that formulas had changed and the paint I felt matched wonderfully (that I purchased from Buss) must have been the wrong color, thus making everything else I purchased from them look wrong. I presented clear visual evidence and was still met with an inability to own up to the issue.

I love Emmaus and support the town by buying local whenever I can but after this experience I will be looking for another paint supplier.

Maybe if I was a contractor, or not perceived as an unknowledgeable female, I would have received better service. I would suggest saving yourself the time, money (same and similar paint supplies can be purchased at least 20% cheaper from big box home improvement stores or Sherwin Williams) and headache and shop somewhere else.

May be good for paint but recommend you not do business with the shade department. No communication when broken shade they sent in was sent to wrong place, no communication after weeks of waiting, sent back poorly repaired and lasted a week or two, then redone and sent back with chord so short we had to stand on toes to operate (am 6'2"). Man in charge dismissive of our concerns to the point I found him nasty. Lived with short chord for a year because I did not want to have any contact with this person. Found new outlet who beautifully fixed another shade and put regular cord on Buss one for nothing without scowling.

Buss Paint in Emmaus is an unbelievable store! Service like, the kind you don't find anymore. Jim helped me pick the right color, made it a little differnt than the chip.. it is perfect. I love that Muralo paint. I pay a little more, but get that piece of mind, that the product is right, and so is the service.. they even carried the paint to my care. super place!!
