First honest independent auto service center I've come across in over 30 years. While others were not necessarily dishonest, their per hour charge for service was always high. I went there two years ago and had never been in before. My auto was five years old and I needed a State Inspection. Most places, I have found will find something that needs replaced. Usually brakes because the customer has a difficult time disputing their determination. However, I had mentioned that my front tire was constantly leaking air and it might have a nail in it or need re-mounted. He said they would check it out. When my car was ready, he told me that on my type of car, the back brakes wear out sooner than the front but they were OK for now but would probably need changed within six months. (He could have easily said they needed replaced that day, but gave me an honest assessment.) As for the leak in the front tire, he reported that it was nothing but a leaky valve stem that just needed tightened and there was no charge. All I paid for was an inspection, but he gained a new customer!!
