Main Steel Polishing is an independent toll processor that specializes in the stainless and nonferrous metals processing. Its services include sheet polishing, coil polishing, cut-to-length sheet buffing, slitting, plate polishing, grinding, blanking and hand/straight line polishing. Main Steel also offers a variety of tape products that are applied on variety of metal surfaces, such as stainless, aluminum, painted or coated metals and red metals. Its finished processed products can be found in applications, such as appliances, food service equipment, transportation, aerospace, automotive gas tanks, bumpers and wheels, as well as decorative materials in shopping malls, office buildings and elevators. Main Steel Polishing was founded in 1956 and is based in Tinton Falls, N.J. It has additional offices in Commerce, Calif.; Dallas; Barlett and Wheeling, Ill.; Youngstown, Ohio; Atlanta; Harmony, Pa.; Baltimore; Union, N.J.; and Mexico City. Each of the company s facilities offers a combination of capabilities. Its Union location is referred to as a mega-center as it incorporates nearly all of the processes.
