I bought my dog from here 6 years ago. She is still living and healthy. And she is a blessing! Ridgewood has great service, and their employees are very friendly and helpful. I did some research on this place before i bought my baby, and i found out that it is a family business and has been running for 40 years. The man that owns the store, Mike, his dad and uncle started this business. They have a website that has feeding and training tips on it. You usually dont see thattype of dedication at other places. They also give a lifetime warranty (which NO OTHER puppy place does), and that shows that they are very confident in the dogs that they are selling. They make it very obvious that they know what they are doing, just by the way they talk. This place is NOT a puppy mill.

I bought a puppy from AA Ridgewood kennels and when I received the papers I noticed that he came from a kennel under a different name. When I researched this kennel I found that they housed 707 dogs at the location in Ephrata, PA. That was ONE of the kennels under the owners name, there were three others. The website for this company claims that they are a family kennel and makes it sound like their puppies are bred in home. I am very disgusted that I bought a dog from them now. I bought the dog from them after going to three other kennels which turned out to be puppy mills. If I wanted to support a puppy mill I could have paid ALOT less by buying from the mill itself instead of going through these people. Is there any place to buy a dog in the Lancaster area without it being from a mill?! I am very frustrated by the situation and will not be recommending this place to anyone! I do love my dog and he is healthy so far. (only 3 months now)
