Absolute disaster. I was charged for 1250 gallons pumped from one tank. Tank only holds 1000 gallons. Second tank was not even opened or cleaned. The person who did the job didn't have a clue. Had to hire a second company to do the job. To add insult to injury American Septic left an oil slick in my driveway that took 4 hours to clean up. Their activities caused our septic pump to short out which caused another $1200. Use this outfit at your own risk.

One star would not even do this company justice. The prior review is from the sellers of our new home in Elizabeth Colorado. They hired this company to inspect the septic of the house that was once theirs (now ours...). In the inspection report it says "everything is in perfect working order and is up to Elbert county codes". FALSE. A few weekends ago we awoke to sewage water in our basement. Shocked, we called a septic company based in Limon, co (who we HIGHLY recommend). They were out within a few hours. Our electrical wires to the pump were BURIED IN THE DIRT (NOT up to code!), the float switch was broken off, and our absorption area is settling!!! There's NO way our septic system should have passed the inspection. NO way!!!!! I feel like some shady business took place between the prior owners and this company in order to pass the inspection so they could sell their house and move!!! I've filed complaints with Elbert county and spread the word to everyone I know. DO NOT hire this company!!!!! Call someone else and pay them extra to drive to ELIZABETH!! These people probably drove up, looked at the yard and signed off on it without thrmoroughky inspecting it! Lesson learned for our future endeavors. That's for sure.

Called twice on a Sunday for service and left a message but no one every returned my call. Ad said they were a 24 hour, 7 day a week service.

I would highly recommend this company to who ever is looking to get their septic tank pumped and/or inspected. The owner was very informative about my system and how it should be maintained. The company was also very accommodating and got us in on very short notice.
