They helped me with my lawn mower engine. After I changed the oil, air filter, spark plug, checked the gap, sharpened the blade, and put fresh gasoline in my engine, I cranked it up. It started, but the engine didn't sound right and kept making loud popping sounds. I did some research online and figured out that it most likely needed the carburetor cleaned. SPE took the job after I explained what I'd done and I told them it probably needed the carburetor cleaned. I got my mower back the next day. They only cleaned the carburetor but charged me the full service fee for a full tune up, which includes the oil, air filter change, spark plug change, lubricant and carburetor cleaning. When I asked about the charges, the owner was totally disrespectful towards me and said he always charges the full price, no matter what service is performed. He refused to adjust the price to reflect the work that was performed. I felt really cheated. If you went to the barbershop and asked for a tape up and they charged you for a full salon makeover, wouldn't you feel cheated too? On a positive note, the mower is running better than ever, but I'm not sure I want to go back because of the lousy customer service.

Great bonus of free pickup and delivery. Always helpful and honest when I bring my mowers there. Prices are surprisingly low. Best shop in the area.

Horrible experience,i dropped off my weedeater to find out what it would cost to correct problem i was having,which was cutting out whe trying to run once warmed up..not only did i never recieve a call about what the problem was or how much to fix it..but when i was called with my total of 79 dollars i went and picked it up, got it home and started it,as soon as it got hot it started cutting out..i took back 15 minutes after picking up and they cranked it and it did the same thing..10 minutes later i was given it back and told it was fixed after some adjustments ??? So now last week i crank it and its starting the same problem again?? So whats the 79 dollars i paid for the repair?? This is not the place to go folks

The shop apparently has plenty of staff. However, they also have a serious customer relations problem. I witnessed two disputes while waiting to be served. Both customers had (what I believed to be) legitimate issues. Both customers were allowed to have their frustration levels increase because they were being told that the only person that could help them was Russell (the owner I assume) & he was not there. Both customers had issues that required (in all fairness) an answer then and there, and should not have been put off. The staff remained calm but evasive to the point of ridiculousness, even though the customers arguments were valid. It seemed that the staff are not trained nor comfortable in handling customer complaints. It also seemed that they were not only ok with this type of dispute management but were accustomed to it. I felt that both issues could have been handled without all the drama if the staff would have been better versed in problem resolution (possibly training about day-to-day running of the business) and presented with more interested and engaging attitudes. This can only be achieved with confidence. As to my own issue, it was handled quickly and fairly but when I got home, my mower still was not running correctly. As this was a return visit, and after witnessing the above, I will be finding a new repair shop.

Wow Russell is good! I had a problem with my riding lawn mower loading gas into the oil. I stopped by on Sat. afternoon to see when they could pick it up and they were out a couple hours later and had it back the same day! Fixed and spotless! Russell is very good, quick and really appreciates the business and it shows!
