I was looking for vintage jewelry and glassware and found Collingbourne's in Elgin. They have so many treasures in that store, it is well worth the trip. I will be going back soon to purchase a vintage crystal light fixture. My husband also loves the coin section. Friendly staff made the hours I spent there very enjoyable.

went into Eagles coin shop on residence and got a licking on the precious metal coins I traded in. Eagle lied as to the content of pecious metal in my coins and lied again as to price of silver/gold at date of sale. He gives NO paperwork/receipt of sale and claims he has nothing to check rarity of coins! I would NOT suggest selling your precious metal coins here .

i found it hard to find because of all the construction on state street, rt 31, but the large white sign on the building helped alot...the cobble stone entrance that dates to the 1850's was a nice beginning to my treasure hunt.....inside there was abit for all antiquers....wonderfull assortment of lighting, hanging and otherwise, jewelry, smalls, primitives and nice staff to help out whenever i had a question....a nice place to antique shop in downtown elgin....

I found some amazing watches and clocks in this place. Good mix of man and woman "like" antiques and collectables. Very nice home decor and fabulous antique and vintage jewelry! You must see this place!

This store is great! I stumbled across it looking for another store and was amazed! When I first walked in i couldnt believe all the antique lighting hanging from the cealing. There is so much stuff in this place>. I loved all the little shabby chic treasures and jewelry. There is some great furniture in here too!
