El Paso Environmental Services protects the community's environment through the provision of weekly residential garbage collection, recycling, and disposal of household hazardous waste and bulky items. The department also eradicates illegal dumping, and enforces environmental, licensing and zoning laws. It provides compliance, and solid waste and environmental management services. The department s compliance services division investigates various types of violations, including illegal dumping, junked vehicles, construction without permits, garage and yard sales, prohibited signs and off street parking.
