Dina has been great! She gets right to the core of things, knows how to handle your dog, and is skillful and patient about training you to train your pup. The great thing about enlisting in Dina's classes is that she will give you the confidence and knowledge you need to help you and your puppy reach goals that you may have thought were unobtainable. She was very attentive and responsive to any issues or questions that I had and I would definitely recommend taking a class with K-9 Fun Works and Dina!

We have taken both Good Manners II and the Canine Good Citizen course with Dina and have been so impressed with both. Our year old lab mix has vastly improved her skills in sitting, recall, being comfortable around other people and dogs, as well as just general good manners and obedience. Dina has answered ALL of our questions and is always accessible to help. Her expert assistance prevents training from becoming a chore, but rather a fun bonding time that tires out our energetic pup. Be prepared to practice during the week on your own time - as with any dog training, one hour a week is not enough! Dina makes "homework" easy by handing out step-by-step instructions for every week. We are excited to continue our dog's training with Dina and recommend her to all of our friends with dogs!

Dina has been fantastic for our dog, Grace. I wanted a well behaved family dog that we could take out places, but also have guests at our home without having to put her away (as so many people have to do with their dogs) and we have all of that and more. We took her Puppy Kindergarten class first and learned the most valued 'Place' command. As a brand new dog owner, Dina gave insights into phases that our dog went through and how to adjust her behavior in a postive manner for our family. We then went on to take Good Manners I class and have been even more pleased. I will say this THE OWNER MUST TRAIN WITH THIER DOG, you have to DO the homework in oder to progress with the class. Dina, spends equal amount of time with everyone in class, she adjusts her technique to the dog/owners needs, she gives you time to make up classes that are missed, and she really does understand dogs and listen to what the onwer wants. I would completely recommend her to others (and actually already have).

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. She does not like to deal with dogs who are harder to train, yet she does take your money and pretends she is going to help you. I learned more watching videos online than on her class. Also, her classes start of with several people and end up with just a few because they are so boring and pointless. Worse $120 I've ever wasted. Dina should stop teaching.

I contacted this organization about training for my dog to be my daughters service dog and she told me to call her back later because she was "watching a movie"! Extremely unprofessional, the only reason she was rated a 1 was because I had to give her something!!!!

Having a GS puppy was more than what I had bargained for. My puppy had a lot of energy and needed a lot of exercise. My problem was walking my dog, even though he was still a puppy he had a lot of strength and I felt like he was walking me. Attending K9 FunWorks was the best investment ever. Dina took the time to train us and show us how to teach our dog to walk on a leash and learn other commands. Before long I was able to take my dog out for walks on my own. Dina also offers Therapy dog training, which we decided to put our dog through. Our dog is now a certified therapy dog and we owe it all to Dina's excellent training skills and knowledge. She is an excellent trainer and I highly recommend K9 FunWorks.

Dina is excellent! I contacted Dina in early 2014 to help me train my Dogo Argentino puppy. At the time, the puppy could not be on a leash without biting the leash, and she could not even walk to the mailbox with me! I would have been absolutely lost without Dina's guidance- and I would recommend Dina to anyone in need of help with training!

When I got my dog his was so unruly. Dina truly took a personal touch in helping my dog become more social with other dogs and kids. I recently moved across the United States and in ever dog friendly hotel my dog is the best behaved dog there. I can leave him on long sits to go grab a coffee and despite all the distractions going on in the lobby he just sits there behaving himself. I get so many compliments about how well behaved he is. If you are having issues at home or taking your dog Dina will help you work through all or any issues. I would recommend K9 Fun Works to anyone!!

K9 Fun works is a great place to take your canine friend for training, no matter if you are a beginner level or competition level, I started taking my little doberman to a drop-in play time to socialize her with other puppies and then I signed up for classes, the good manners I and right after it I signed up on good manners II, and I am hooked, I have so much fun with my beautiful Bella. Dina has been great, always ready to help with my questions and challenges, she is very knowledgeable.

Dina Whitehouse gave us the knowledge and tools to an obediant Great Dane. We couldn't have done it without her knowledge and expertise. Now we are always getting comments on how well-behaved our Great Dane is. Dina at K9 Funworks will work with you and give you the knowledge and the "know how" to training your dog well. But remember you must go home, as well, and practice, practice, practice. K9 Funworks is as good as it gets. Go now!

I was almost ready to sell my Doberman puppy because I had no control of her. After attending several classes through K 9 Fun Works she is a different dog. Besides training for your pet, the owner/handler will also receive be shown correct training and handling methods. I highly recommend attending classes through Dina.

Dina Whitehouse is an excellent trainer who works successfully with dogs and handlers at all levels of dog training experience. I consistently recommend her to friends and associates. It is with total confidence that I do this because I have worked with her for a number of years in obedience and rally and she has contributed greatly to our success- most recently with a rescue chihuahua mix, who, on occasion, had been called "Cujo". After completeing Dina's Good Manners and Beginning Obedience classes, she earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen certificate. We are now continuing to train with Dina to work towards this dog's CD (Companion Dog) title.

Dina is a very knowledgeable, ...

Dina is a very knowledgeable, patient and caring trainer that took the time and dedication to work with Chico, an 80 pound hyperactive pit mix that I had been fostering for over a year. Although he is a very sweet dog, he was abused and neglected by his previous owners and had developed undesirable habits such as jumping on people, pulling on a lease, whining, barking obnoxiously, and developed a very low self-esteem. Completing Dina’s Basic Manners Training was truly a wonderful turning point for Chico. It took much dedication on my behalf and Dina’s, but through her guidance and our persistence, Chico began to bond with me, stopped jumping on people, learned to walk nicely on a leash, his barking and whining ceased significantly, and his success in class and at home helped him develop a higher self-esteem. As a result, Chico finally found the perfect forever home, where he is loved and will never be abused or neglected again!! His training really paid off! Thanks Dina!!
