I did a basic wash and after coming out a piece of my tail light had been broken off and a light for my license plate was hanging loose. I went in to report the damage and the employee said there was nothing they could do and that they don't cover damages. I went out to my car and looked up the company policy online and it said to file a claim on site immediately. I went back in and asked to file a claim and all they gave me a form to fill out and came and took pictures of the car. I asked why they said they didn't cover damages and they said they didn't know what I was asking about earlier. After filling the claim they refused to pay for the damage for the tail light or to compensate me in any way! They said my tail light could have been cracked before I went in and the dryer could have blown it loose. It wasn't cracked already and something obviously happened to knock my license plate light loose. I am going to keep leaving bad reviews on every website and hopefully they lose at least as much business as the cost of my tail light.

$7 is a good price for a carwash. This place has a nice bow tied attendant to help with paying. But when I found my Lexus antenna bent/broken ($100)I complained that someone should have told me or assisted at the beginning as I am a senior citizen. Their manager kept saying that it was my responsibility and a sign was posted at the beginning. I just remember foot off brakes and keep in neutral. Manager was not compassionate. I will never go there again!

Liars

The car wash broke the antenna off my mercedez and made me wait two weeks to tell me they couldn't find it. They told me if they couldn't find it they would buy me a new one. I waited another week no phone call. I have to call them to find out they did nothing. So I replaced my own antenna costing over 300. And brought them the bill. They said they could have got it cheaper and wont pay. If they could have then they should have done do. We said ok to 250. Gift card but guess what three three weeks now no gift card. Im going to small claims - enough is enough

No Honor

While I think that Soapy Joes is a well run business they have, in my experience, lacked the attribute of honor. I had my car washed today and when I got in my vehicle, noticed that the film on my tint was scratched in about 10 places. When I returned with the vehicle to show a manager, he denied that they could have possibly done this. He explained how the workers take off rings and the towels would have made long scratches if they contained anything that could have torn the film. While I stated that I couldn't elaborate on how it happend I could definately attest to them (the scratches) not being there before I left the vehicle in their hands. The man I spoke with continued in on how this was not possible implying that I am a liar. This was never an issue of money or trying to get something for nothing as it will probably cost me less that $50 to have the window completely re-tinted. This was a principal of honor type problem that I would have liked for them to offer to fix what they had done to my window through insurances that I'm sure they are required to carry. I just wanted my car back the way it was, nothing more but nothing less. Sooo, that got no where besides a few choice words on my departure. When I got home I called in to speak to the General Manager who said he was familiar with the situation and claimed that he was the one who did the windows and the scratches were definately already there. At this point I realized that I was wasting my time and voiced my feelings again prior to hanging up. What I did not share with the GM is that the whole time they were working on my cars interior I was observing them while on my phone in the shade no more than 15 feet from the vehicle. I saw the GM there but he did not come over until after the regular car washers had gone through the car and gone over everything inside. He sat in the driver's seat and did some touch up work and the only reason he came over was because one of the workers came to get him and on the way over where talking quietly in Spanish as if to hide the conversation. Now he's telling me he "knows" the scratches were there. Again upon first review I thought that the business was run well but after this dealing will never go back as they lack integrity.
