This is just 2 items out of many that came delivered damaged from BK Movers. They have no respect of your items and just threw furniture in the truck. Do not use them! The owner could care less

This is by far the most disreputable moving firm we've ever dealt with. They stored our furniture for nearly 2 years while we got settled into our new home. They charged us a storage fee based on their determination that we had 800 cubic feet of furniture. When our new mover, National Van Lines, a national moving company, picked our furniture up yesterday, they told us that the total volume was in fact only approximately 430 cubic feet, nearly half of what BK was charging us for!

When I approached the owner, Bill, I was told to "go to hell" and that I should have my attorney contact his.

I was simply asking him to reimburse us for the discrepancy, about $60/month.

They are by far the most disreputable moving firm we've ever dealt with.

If you're in need of a mover or storage firm in the Atlantic City, Egg Harbor NJ are, I strongly suggest stating VERY, VERY FAR away from BK movers!!

I totally agree with the two previous postings. At the time of the quote and in subsequent conversations, the additional insurance was not explained nor was I encouraged to buy it. Upon arrival, a number of pieces of furniture had gauges and scratches and a chair had the netting ripped off. Another box packed tightly and clearly marked FRAGILE was dented and the contents smashed. While trying to bring in a recliner, I explained that during the initial move it was much easier to use the auto-recline function to lay the chair down before trying to get through doorways - they kept shoving it upright and damaged newly painted walls/doors. I have yet to locate at least one box - they do not provide a listing/numbering system as other movers do. They removed the screen door closer tube and didn't even hook it back up prior to leaving. They came out to inspect the next day, and I was basically told that I was out of luck for the damage they did. They did offer to have someone come and paint over the door/wall but at this point I am not sure that I want any representative connected with this company in my house.

Stay away from BK Movers - they are bad news!

Stay away from BK Movers. They did NOT explain to us about purchasing additional insurance. They packed the entire contents of the house themselves. On the day the furniture was moved back in, we opened one box that the entire contents were smashed. The "insurance" paid us $18.90 for the entire content of the box. The brand new stainless steel french door refrigerator has dings in each of the doors. Again, based on the weight (that's how their insurance is calculated), they gave us $252.00 for the damages. We cannot get the doors repaired for that amount of money, nor replace what was in the box that they packed and obviously dropped somewhere along the way. Yes, they did come out and fix the dings in the furniture however, considering what we paid them to move our furniture I would NOT recommend them to anyone. As another reviewer stated, stay away from BK Movers.

Stay Away from BK Movers

They are a great moving company if you like your furniture damaged, scratched and broken. They talked us out of additional insurance and damaged our most expensive, irreplaceable piece of furniture. In addition, approximately 15 other pieces of furniture were scratched or damaged, AND, AND they tried to glue the broken pieces back on. They even broke glass shelves which were wrapped in packing blankets. While installing the furniture in the new location, they tried their best to hide the damage from us while bringing in and placing the furniture. Some furniture had bright blue paint on it, and no one knew where it came from. They also scratched a new hard wood floor which was finished two days before. It is in your best interest to stay away from BK Movers!

every attempt by our insurance company(Hartford ins group)to verify these claims by doing a physical examination was denied.The broken glass shelf was replaced and delivered, and as for the blue paint it was dried on and thought to have come from previous painting of the original property. This case was closed within 90 days by the customer paying there bill in full with no further action
