Effingham High School is a public school located in Effingham, Ill. It has an enrollment of more than 900 students in grades nine through 12. It offers an academic program that is designed for students who intend to continue their formal education beyond high school. It provides a comprehensive educational program, including core subjects, such as mathematics, English, American history, social studies, American government, business studies, science and health. All students are invited to take part in its various extracurricular activities, including clubs, such as Animation Club, Chemclub and Library Club, and various activities, including band, collage, drama and student council.
