I love Sunset Stables! The staff and clientele create the perfect place for both my horses and my family. The barn manager is so knowledgeable and ready to help both horse and rider. The care for the horses is impeccable. I am at ease knowing my horses are in such good hands. Fantastic stables!

I have boarded horses at several other boarding facilities and none compare to the care provided at Sunset. The horses always come first. Jessie, and her staff, are knowledgeable caregivers. Everyone is always willing to give 110%.

I've been a boarder here for three years and the level of care my horse receives goes above and beyond what most other boarding barns offer. I am an active participate in his care and am always notified if there are any changes. I've become a better rider through working with the manager who is also a trainer. I've been on numerous trail rides and gone to several shows all as part of a group. There is no drama, no pettiness, no unwanted or unwelcome advice. It's a fantastic place to be with people who feel like family. I'm a young women and love that there is a wide age range of people to ride with and bond with that have the same interests as mine. Also I need to mention if you don't have a horse and want one the manager can help you purchase a quality horse, like she did for me. Come check us out, it's a great laid back place to be.

Sunset is not a fancy place with fancy people. You probably won't be happy here if that is what you are looking for. If you want a place where your horse will be well cared for and happy, where people get along and welcome newcomers, where you can improve your riding skills (or learn to ride ) and those of your horse, then come to Sunset. We are first time horse owners. J.helped us pick out our horse. I feel at ease learning to ride because she watches out for me as I ride and learn. My daughters have learned to ride and train horses here. I tell my friends who are traveling overseas that my travel money is spent at Sunset.

Love this place. I came for one month of lessons/training and have been here for over 4 years. The staff is knowledgable and caring. It is so nice being able to ride in the indoor arena during the winter! Boarders are nice as well as helpful for any level of rider. I'll be here a whole lot longer. l

Older barn, but is very well managed, very clean. Horses are stalled at night and turned out everyday. Stalls cleaned daily. Good footing in the indoor and large outdoor arena. Old train track trails nearby and just a few miles from horse friendly parks, too. Friendly, happy place for both the horse and rider. I've had two horses there for couple of months, and very happy with everything. Most borders have been there for many years. Easy access (short distance) from Hwy 55. I could board MUCH closer to home, but choose Sunset Stable because of the care, and atmosphere.
