Amy McClintock, MD, is a board-certified primary care sports medicine physician who sees patients of all ages. She evaluates acute sports injuries, provides rehabilitation plans, and performs sports physicals. She treats injuries like sport-related sprains, concussions, tendonitis, fractures, and arthritis and can help guide "return to play" decisions for athletes of all ages and abilities. Dr. McClintock is a primary care sports medicine physician who treats the whole patient and develops personalized treatment plans. She helps people address their non-surgical orthopedic needs, whether they are athletes or non-athletes. She also works with orthopedic surgeons to identify patients who would benefit from surgical interventions. Dr. McClintock is a St. Louis native who has been a multisport athlete her entire life. She enjoys cycling and the outdoors and has served as a team physician for several universities, including Southern Illinois University, Lindenwood University, and Kent State University. Dr. McClintock earned her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She completed her family medicine residency at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis and her sports medicine fellowship with Summa Health System at Northeastern Ohio University in Akron, Ohio.
