Established in 1973 and located in Edna, Texas, Jackson HealthCare Center has served the health care needs of Jackson County and the surrounding area for more than 30 years. The hospital is a critical access hospital and is designated a Level 4 trauma center. The hospital provides a range of services, such as acute and emergency care, healthy lifestyles meetings, outpatient, geri-psychiatric services for those aged 65 and above, laboratory services, mammography and radiology. It also provides diagnostic ultrasound, bone density studies, CT scans, magnetic resonance imaging, home health services, nursing home services, physical, occupational, and speech therapies and stress testing. Additionally, it provides cardiopulmonary services, pulmonary rehabilitation, skilled nursing and surgeries.
